เมื่อวันที่ 20 กุมภาพันธ์ 2568 นายอสิ ม้ามณี เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเฮก พร้อมด้วย ผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานส่งเสริมการค้าในต่างประเทศ และข้าราชการสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้เข้าร่วมพิธีประกาศผลรางวัล Cacao of Excellence Awards 2025 ซึ่งจัดขึ้นในช่วงงาน Amsterdam Cocoa Week โดยในปีนี้ โกโก้จากประเทศไทยได้รับคัดเลือกให้อยู่ในรายชื่อ “Best 50” และได้รับรางวัลระดับโลก รวมทั้งสิ้น 3 รางวัล ได้แก่ 

 

🏅 เหรียญทอง (Gold Award) — Taluang Cocoa จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช 

🏅 เหรียญทอง (Gold Award) — TinTin Chocolate จังหวัดระนอง 

🥉 เหรียญทองแดง (Bronze Award) — RaiGoNueng จังหวัดชุมพร 

 

สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเฮก ขอร่วมแสดงความยินดีและชื่นชมในความมุ่งมั่นของเกษตรกรผู้ประกอบการไทย และสมาคมการค้าโกโก้และช็อกโกแลตไทย จนนำมาสู่รางวัลอันทรงเกียรติในระดับสากล ความสำเร็จครั้งนี้ไม่เพียงแต่สร้างการยอมรับให้แก่โกโก้ไทย แต่ยังตอกย้ำเอกลักษณ์ทางรสชาติที่โดดเด่นและเป็นเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตัวของไทยในเวทีโลก 

 

โครงการ Cacao of Excellence เป็นเวทีระดับนานาชาติที่จัดขึ้นทุกสองปี เพื่อค้นหาและยกย่องเมล็ดโกโก้คุณภาพเยี่ยมจากทั่วโลก พร้อมส่งเสริมความหลากหลายทางพันธุกรรม การพัฒนาคุณภาพ และโอกาสทางการตลาดที่ยั่งยืนสำหรับเกษตรกรรายย่อย ในการประกวดปี 2025 มีตัวอย่างโกโก้ 191 ตัวอย่าง จาก 45 แหล่งผลิตทั่วโลก ผ่านการประเมินโดยผู้เชี่ยวชาญนานาชาติ ก่อนคัดเลือกเป็นรายชื่อ “Best 50” และนำไปผลิตเป็นดาร์กช็อกโกแลตด้วยสูตรเดียวกันเพื่อพิจารณาเพื่อพิจารณารางวัลเหรียญทอง เหรียญเงิน และเหรียญทองแดง ซึ่งประกาศผลภายในงานดังกล่าว

On 20 February 2025, H.E. Mr. Asi Mamanee, Ambassador of Thailand to The Hague, together with Director of Thai Trade Center and official of the Royal Thai Embassy, attended the announcement ceremony of the Cacao of Excellence Awards 2025, held during Amsterdam Cocoa Week. This year, Thai cacao was selected among the prestigious “Best 50” and achieved outstanding international recognition, receiving a total of three global awards:

 

🏅 Gold Award — Taluang Cocoa, Nakhon Si Thammarat

🏅 Gold Award — TinTin Chocolate, Ranong

🥉 Bronze Award — RaiGoNueng, Chumphon

 

The Royal Thai Embassy extends its warmest congratulations and appreciation to Thai farmers, entrepreneurs, and the Thai Cocoa and Chocolate Trade Association for their dedication and continuous efforts that led to these prestigious international honours. This achievement not only enhances global recognition of Thai cacao but also highlights Thailand’s distinctive and unique flavour profile on the world stage.

 

The Cacao of Excellence programme is an international platform held every two years to identify and celebrate the world’s finest cacao beans, while promoting genetic and flavour diversity, quality development, and sustainable market opportunities for smallholder farmers. In the 2025 edition, 191 cacao samples from 45 origins worldwide were evaluated by an international panel of experts. The top entries were selected as the “Best 50” and subsequently processed into dark chocolate using a standardised recipe for final evaluation to determine the Gold, Silver, and Bronze award winners announced at the ceremony.
