เมื่อวันที่ 13 มีนาคม 2566 นายชาตรี อรรจนานันท์ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเฮก และนายวิชวุทย์ จินโต ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานีได้ร่วมกล่าวเปิดงาน Koh Samui Roadshow จัดโดยสมาคมส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวเกาะสมุยร่วมกับการท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย สำนักงานปารีส ที่ โรงแรม Park Plaza Amsterdam Airport กรุงอัมสเตอร์ดัม เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้ประกอบการไทยได้นำเสนอสินค้าบริการให้กับคู่ค้าในเนเธอร์แลนด์ อันจะนำมาสู่การกระตุ้นการท่องเที่ยว และสร้างรายได้ในพื้นที่

 

สำหรับงาน Koh Samui Roadshow นายรัชชพร พูลสวัสดิ์ นายกสมาคมส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวเกาะสมุย พร้อมด้วยผู้ประกอบการธุรกิจท่องเที่ยวจากเกาะสมุยและบริเวณใกล้เคียง รวมถึงสายการบิน EVA Airs และ Bangkok Airways ได้เดินทางมาพบปะและร่วมเจรจาธุรกิจกับผู้ประกอบการธุรกิจท่องเที่ยวจากเนเธอร์แลนด์ กว่า 40 ราย 

 

โดยเทรนด์การท่องเที่ยวในกลุ่มนักท่องเที่ยวดัตช์ในปัจจุบัน นักท่องเที่ยวมีความสนใจเดินทางไปประเทศที่ห่างไกลมากยิ่งขึ้น และมีการใช้จ่ายเงินมากขึ้น โดยนักท่องเที่ยวให้ความสำคัญกับการผ่อนคลายความเครียด (Recover and Recharge) และการท่องเที่ยวที่ยั่งยืน (Sustainable Travel)

อนึ่ง ปัจจุบัน มีเที่ยวบินตรงจากอัมสเตอร์ดัมไปกรุงเทพฯ ทุกวัน และนักท่องเที่ยวดัตช์ใช้เวลาในประเทศไทยเฉลี่ย 17 วัน/คน

On 13 March 2023, Ambassador and Mr. Wichawut Jinto, Governor of Surat Thani Province, gave a speech at the opening of the Koh Samui Roadshow organised by the Koh Samui Tourism Promotion Association and the Tourism Authority of Thailand. Paris Office at Park Plaza Amsterdam Airport Hotel, Amsterdam. The event aimed at providing opportunities for Thai entrepreneurs to offer products and services to partners in the Netherlands, which will lead to increased tourism and generate income in the area

 

For the Koh Samui Roadshow, Mr. Ratchaporn Poolsawat, President of the Koh Samui Tourism Promotion Association, and tourism business operators from Koh Samui and nearby areas, Including EVA Airs and Bangkok Airways, travelled to meet and discuss business with more than 40 tourism entrepreneurs from the Netherlands.

 

The current trend in tourism among Dutch visitors is that travellers are becoming increasingly interested in visiting countries that are further away. The emphasis of these vacations is on relaxation (Recover and Recharge) as well as environmentally responsible travel (Sustainable Travel). There are direct flights daily from Amsterdam to Bangkok, and Dutch tourists spend an average of 17 days per person in Thailand.
