เมื่อวันที่ 9 สิงหาคม 2567 นายอสิ ม้ามณี เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเฮก ได้เข้าร่วมพิธีปิดงาน World Congress on Pain 2024 ที่ศูนย์ประชุม RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre กรุงอัมสเตอร์ดัม

 

ในโอกาสนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้รับมอบสิทธิ์ในการเป็นเจ้าภาพจัดงาน World Congress on Pain 2026  ซึ่งจะจัดขึ้นที่กรุงเทพมหานคร ระหว่างวันที่ 27-31 ตุลาคม 2569 จาก Professor Andrew Rice ประธาน สมาคมการศึกษาเรื่องความปวดนานาชาติ (International Association for the Study of Pain: IASP)

 

เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ยังได้เชิญชวนและประชาสัมพันธ์งาน World Congress on Pain 2026 ครั้งที่ 21 โดยเน้นถึงความสำคัญของการจัดงานนี้ในประเทศไทย ซึ่งจะเป็นเวทีสำคัญในการแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้และประสบการณ์ในด้านการจัดการความเจ็บปวด การรักษา และนวัตกรรมทางการแพทย์ เพื่อร่วมกันพัฒนาและยกระดับความรู้ด้านการจัดการความเจ็บปวดในระดับสากล

 

สมาคมเพื่อการศึกษาเรื่องความเจ็บปวดสากล เป็นองค์กรสหสาขาวิชาชีพระดับโลกที่อุทิศตนเพื่อพัฒนาความเข้าใจและการจัดการความเจ็บปวดผ่านการวิจัย การศึกษา และการสนับสนุน 

 

On August 9, 2024, Ambassador Asi Mamanee attended the closing ceremony of the World Congress on Pain 2024 at the RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre in Amsterdam. At the event, he represented Thailand in receiving the rights to host the 21st World Congress on Pain 2026 from Professor Andrew Rice, President of the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP).

 

The Ambassador also seized the opportunity to promote the upcoming congress, scheduled to take place in Bangkok from October 27-31, 2026. He emphasized the importance of holding this prestigious event in Thailand, which will serve as a key platform for sharing knowledge and experiences in pain management, treatment, and medical innovation. The congress aims to foster international collaboration and advance the field of pain management.

 

The International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) is a global multidisciplinary organization dedicated to advancing the understanding and management of pain through research, education, and advocacy.
