เมื่อวันที่ 15 พ.ย. 2566 อุปทูต ได้เข้าร่วมงานเสวนา ASEAN Ambassadors’ Talk “ASEAN 2045: The Future of the Region as an Epicentrum of Growth”  จัดโดยสถานเอกอัครราชทูตอินโดนีเซีย ในฐานะประธานคณะกรรมการอาเซียน กรุงเฮก ร่วมกับมหาวิทยาลัย Maastricht และสถาบัน United Nations University – Maastricht Economic and Social Research Institute on Innovation and Technology (UNU-MERIT) งานดังกล่าวจัดขึ้นเพื่อเผยแพร่ข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับบทบาทของอาเซียนในด้านการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืนโดยเฉพาะเป้าหมายการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืนของสหประชาชาติ

 

ภายในงาน ผู้เข้าร่วมเสวนา ได้แก่ เอกอัครราชทูตอินโดนีเซีย เอกอัครราชทูตฟิลิปปินส์เอกอัครราชทูตเมียนมา อัครราชทูตมาเลเซีย และอุปทูตไทย 

 

ในโอกาสเดียวกันนี้ นายพสุวัตร ยาทิพย์ ที่ปรึกษา สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้พบปะและพูดคุยกับนักเรียนไทยที่ศึกษาที่มหาวิทยาลัย Maastricht โดยได้แลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับประสบการณ์การศึกษาในเนเธอร์แลนด์และการใช้ชีวิตในเมือง Maastricht รวมทั้งรับฟังปัญหาต่าง ๆ ของนักเรียนไทย

 

On 15 November 2023, Ms. Chonvipat Changtrakul, Chargé d’affaires a.i.  participated in the ASEAN Ambassadors' Talk "ASEAN 2045: The Future of the Region as an Epicenter of Growth " at the United Nations University – Maastricht Economic and Social Research Institute on Innovation and Technology (UNU-MERIT), Maastricht.

 

The panel discussion was organized by the Embassy of Indonesia, as Chair of the ASEAN Committee in The Hague (ACTH) in collaboration with Maastricht University and UNU-MERIT.

 

The purpose of the event was to discuss the role of ASEAN in the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with the focus  on Planet, People and Peace 

 

Welcoming remarks were delivered by Prof. Dr. Bartel Van de Walle, Director UNU-MERIT, and Ambassador Mayerfas of Indonesia, Chair of ACTH. 

 

Joining the panel were Ambassador J. Eduardo Malaya of the Philippines, Ambassador Soe Lynn Han of Myanmar, Deputy Chief of Mission of Malaysia, and 

Chargé d'affaires of Thailand. 

 

At the end, the students gave their reflection on the discussion. 

 

On the same day, Mr. Pasuwat Yathip , Counsellor, took this opportunity to visit and exchange discussion with Thai students at Maastricht University .
