เมื่อวันที่ 22 กุมภาพันธ์ พ.ศ. 2566 อัครราชทูตที่ปรึกษา เข้าร่วมเป็นผู้บรรยายในงาน 'Ambassador Talk' ที่มหาวิทยาลัย Groningen

งาน Ambassador Talk ซึ่งจัดขึ้นโดยมหาวิทยาลัย Groningen ร่วมกับสถานเอกอัครราชทูตอินโดนีเซีย ร่วมกับคณะกรรมการอาเซียนในกรุงเฮก (ASEAN Committee in the Hague: ACTH) มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสร้างความตระหนักรู้เกี่ยวกับสมาคมประชาชาติแห่งเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ หรืออาเซียน และเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัย Groningen และประเทศอาเซียน

เอกอัครราชทูตอินโดนีเซีย เอกอัครราชทูตฟิลิปปินส์ และรองหัวหน้าคณะผู้แทนสถานเอกอัครราชทูตมาเลเซีย ได้นำเสนอเกี่ยวกับนโยบายต่างประเทศของประเทศ และความสำเร็จทางการทูตของแต่ละประเทศ ตลอดจนความเป็นหุ้นส่วนระหว่างอาเซียนกับสหภาพยุโรป

ในโอกาสนี้ อัครราชทูตที่ปรึกษา ได้บรรยายเกี่ยวกับความสัมพันธ์ไทย-เนเธอร์แลนด์ และบทบาทของไทยในอาเซียน ทำให้ผู้เข้าร่วมประชุมได้รับข้อมูลเชิงลึกเกี่ยวกับความสำเร็จทางการทูตของไทย ตลอดจนความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูต ที่มีมาอย่างยาวนานและมีพลวัตกับเนเธอร์แลนด์ ซึ่งจะครบรอบ 420 ปีในปีหน้า

มหาวิทยาลัย Groningen จะร่วมกับมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์และมหาวิทยาลัย Gadjah Mada ของอินโดนีเซียในการจัดประชุมวิชาการ “Transformative Futures: Climate and Sustainable Development in Southeast Asia” ระหว่างวันที่ 14-17 มีนาคม 2566 ณ กรุงเทพมหานคร การประชุมนานาชาติซึ่งนำโดย Prof. Ron Holzhacker ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์วิจัย Groningen Research Centre for Southeast Asia and ASEAN (SEA ASEAN)  การประชุมดังกล่าวมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเป็นเวทีสำหรับนักวิชาการในการแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้และแนวคิดเกี่ยวกับการเปลี่ยนแปลง สภาพภูมิอากาศและการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนใน เอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้

ทั้งนี้ ผู้เข้าร่วมฟังเสวนาประกอบด้วยนักศึกษาจากประเทศในกลุ่มอาเซียนและกลุ่มอาจารย์ที่จะเข้าร่วมการประชุมนานาชาติในประเทศไทย

On 22 February 2023, Minister Counsellor joined in a panel to deliver a presentation at the 'Ambassador Talk' forum at the University of Groningen. 

The purpose of the event, organized by the University of Groningen, Embassy of Indonesia, with partnership of ASEAN Committee in The Hague (ACTH), was to raise awareness about Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), and to strengthen cooperation between University of Groningen and its academic community at large, and ASEAN countries. 

 

Ambassador Mayerfas of Indonesia, Ambassador J. Eduardo Malaya, and Deputy Chief of Mission Dr. Mohd Norshiyam Mohd Yusolf of Malaysia each gave presentation about their respective countries’ foreign policies, their diplomatic achievements, and ASEAN-EU partnership. 

 

The Minister Counsellor gave a presentation on Thailand-Netherlands relations, and Thailand's contribution in ASEAN. This provided attendees with valuable insights into Thailand's diplomatic achievements and its longstanding and dynamic diplomatic relations with the Netherlands, which will reach 420 years next year. 

 

The University of Groningen will join Thammasat University and Gadjah Mada University of Indonesia in holding an academic conference; “Transformative Futures: Climate and Sustainable Development in Southeast Asia” during 14-17 March 2023 in Bangkok. The international conference, which is led by Prof. Ron Holzhacker, Director of the Groningen Research Centre for Southeast Asia and ASEAN (SEA ASEAN), Groningen University aims to provide a platform for scholars to exchange knowledge and ideas on climate change and sustainable development in Southeast Asia.

 

The audience at the Talk comprises students from ASEAN countries, and a group of Professors who will attend the international conference in Thailand.
