เมื่อวันที่ 17 เม.ย. 2566 เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้รับเชิญจาก International Women Contact, The Hague หรือ IWC กล่าวเปิดงาน Thailand Country Morning ในโอกาสนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้กล่าวถึงความสัมพันธ์ไทย – เนเธอร์แลนด์ที่มีมาอย่างยาวนานกว่า 400 ปี รวมถึงการดำเนินกิจกรรมในวันปีใหม่ไทย หรือวันสงกรานต์ พร้อมแสดงวิดีทัศน์ประชาสัมพันธ์ข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับประเทศไทย ทั้งนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ยังได้กล่าวถึงอาหารไทยที่ได้รับการจัดอันดับให้อยู่ในเมนูอาหารที่อร่อยที่สุดของโลก สถานที่ท่องเที่ยวต่าง ๆ เช่น เกาะกระดาน ที่ได้รับการโหวตเป็นชายหาดที่ดีที่สุดในโลก ปี 2023 และให้ข้อมูลการท่องเที่ยวเชิงสุขภาพและสปาไทย ที่ได้รับความนิยมและเป็นที่ยอมรับในระดับสากล

นอกจากนี้ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้ร่วมกับ การท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย (ททท.) สำนักงานปารีส จัดกิจกรรมสาธิต การรดน้ำดำหัว การร้อยมาลัย  การแสดงนาฏศิลป์ไทย และอาหารไทยให้กับผู้เข้าร่วมงานด้วย  โดยได้รับความสนใจจากผู้เข้าร่วมงานซึ่งมีจำนวนประมาณ 100 กว่าคน เป็นอย่างมาก

อนึ่ง งาน Country Morning เป็นงานที่จัดขึ้นเป็นประจำทุกปี โดย IWC จะเชิญประเทศที่อยู่ในความสนใจของกลุ่มสมาชิกมาเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมเพื่อประชาสัมพันธ์ประเทศ 

International Women’s Contact The Hague ก่อตั้งขึ้นในเดือนตุลาคม 2521 โดยมีจุดประสงค์เพื่อส่งเสริมการแลกเปลี่ยนวัฒนธรรม สร้างความสัมพันธ์และมิตรภาพระหว่างสุภาพสตรีที่มาจากต่างประเทศและสุภาพสตรีชาวดัตช์ ปัจจุบันมีสมาชิกประมาณ 300 คนจาก 60 ประเทศ

On 17 April  2023, the Ambassador was invited by the International Women Contact, The Hague (IWC) to speak at the Thailand Country Morning event. During the event, the Ambassador discussed the longstanding relations between Thailand and the Netherlands that has existed for over 400 years. The Ambassador also shared information about Thai New Year, or Songkran, and showcased a video presentation about Thailand. Additionally, the Ambassador highlighted Thai cuisine, which is ranked among the world's most delicious food, and various tourist attractions in Thailand, including the popular Koh Kradan, which was voted the world's best beach in 2023. The Ambassador also provided information on Thai health and spa tourism, which is highly acclaimed internationally.

 

Furthermore, the Embassy of Thailand, in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Paris Office, organized a demonstration of Thai traditions such as water pouring, flower garlands, traditional Thai dance performances, and Thai food for the attendees. The event was well-received by over 100 participants.

 

The Country Morning event is an annual event organized by the IWC, where they invite countries of interest to their members to participate in activities and promote their respective countries.   

The International Women's Contact The Hague was established in October 1978 with the objective of promoting cultural exchange and building relationships and friendships between foreign women and Dutch women. Currently, the IWC has approximately 300 members from 60 countries.
