เมื่อวันที่ 28 เมษายน 2568 สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเฮก ได้จัดการพบปะหารือระหว่างผู้แทนของ International Organization for Migration (IOM) ประจำประเทศเนเธอร์แลนด์ กับศูนย์รับข้อมูลข่าวสารและเผยแพร่เครือข่ายอาชญากรรมคดีพิเศษ ประเทศเนเธอร์แลนด์ (เครือข่าย DSI Station เนเธอร์แลนด์)

 

ในการพบปะหารือดังกล่าว นายอสิ ม้ามณี เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเฮก ได้กล่าวต้อนรับผู้แทนทั้งสองฝ่าย รวมทั้งกล่าวถึงวัตถุประสงค์ของการพบปะในครั้งนี้ โดยเครือข่าย DSI Station ได้บรรยายสรุปภาพรวมของเครือข่ายฯ ซึ่งได้รับการสนับสนุนจากกรมสอบสวนคดีพิเศษ (DSI) กระทรวงยุติธรรม มีภารกิจในการเผยแพร่ข้อมูลที่เป็นประโยชน์จากประเทศไทยให้กับชุมชนไทยในเนเธอร์แลนด์ รวมทั้งให้ความช่วยเหลือคนไทยในเนเธอร์แลนด์ในคดีพิเศษ รวมไปถึงให้คำปรึกษาและช่วยประสานงานกับ DSI ประเทศไทย โดยเฉพาะกรณีการค้ามนุษย์ ขณะที่ผู้แทน IOM ได้บรรยายสรุปถึงความเป็นมาขององค์กร ในฐานะองค์กรระหว่างประเทศภายใต้สหประชาชาติ (UN) ซึ่งมีภารกิจสำคัญในการให้ความช่วยเหลือการย้ายถิ่นฐานรวมทั้งให้ความช่วยเหลือผู้ที่ต้องการเดินทางกลับประเทศบ้านเกิดและปรับตัวเข้ากับสังคม

 

ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือถึงความเป็นไปได้ในการสนับสนุนซึ่งกันและกันโดยเฉพาะการประชาสัมพันธ์บทบาทของ IOM ในการให้ความช่วยเหลือคนไทยในเนเธอร์แลนด์ รวมทั้งการเป็นตัวกลางในการเชื่อมโยงกับองค์กรระหว่างประเทศและองค์กร NGOs อื่น ๆ ในการให้ความช่วยเหลือในด้านต่าง ๆ กับคนไทย

 

On 28 April 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy, The Hague hosted a meeting between representatives of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in the Netherlands and the DSI Station Network in the Netherlands.

 

In the meeting, H.E. Mr. Asi Mamanee, the Ambassador of Thailand to the Netherlands, welcomed the representatives from both sides and outlined the purpose of the meeting. The DSI Station Network provided an overview of its operations, which are supported by the Department of Special Investigation (DSI), Ministry of Justice of Thailand. The Network's missions include disseminating useful information from Thailand to the Thai community in the Netherlands, assisting Thai nationals involved in special cases, and offering consultation and coordination with DSI Thailand particularly in cases involving human trafficking. Meanwhile, the IOM representatives gave a summary of the organization's background as an international organization under the United Nations (UN), with a key mission to assist in migration, support individuals who wish to return to their home countries, and help them reintegrate into the new society.

 

Both parties discussed potential collaboration, especially in promoting IOM’s role in assisting Thai nationals in the Netherlands and acting as a liaison to connect with other international organizations and NGOs to provide various forms of support to Thais in need.
