เมื่อเดือนกันยายน 2568 สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเฮก ได้จัดโครงการศึกษาดูงานด้านเซมิคอนดักเตอร์ในประเทศไทย ให้กับคณะผู้แทนจากกระทรวงการต่างประเทศเนเธอร์แลนด์ และ High Tech NL เพื่อสร้างความเข้าใจเชิงลึกเกี่ยวกับนโยบายระดับชาติ ความสามารถด้านวิจัยและพัฒนา (R&D) และภูมิทัศน์ภาคเอกชนในอุตสาหกรรมเซมิคอนดักเตอร์และอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ขั้นสูง

 

คณะผู้แทนได้แลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลอย่างใกล้ชิดกับผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสียสำคัญของไทย ได้แก่

 

• นโยบายและการลงทุน: พบหารือกับสำนักงานคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมการลงทุน (BOI) เพื่อรับฟังรายละเอียดเกี่ยวกับสิทธิประโยชน์ด้านการลงทุน และกับ สภานโยบายการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัย และนวัตกรรมแห่งชาติ (NXPO) เพื่อหารือแนวทางกลยุทธ์ด้าน R&D และการพัฒนาบุคลากร

• อุตสาหกรรมและนวัตกรรม:พบหารือกับภาคเอกชน เช่น NXP Semiconductors และ Silicon Craft Technology พร้อมเยี่ยมชมสมาคมสำคัญ ได้แก่ สมาคมแผงวงจรแห่งประเทศไทย(THPCA) และ สมาคมอุตสาหกรรมไทยเซมิคอนดักเตอร์ (THSIA)

• บุคลากรและการวิจัย: พบหารือและเยี่ยมชมศูนย์วิจัยและฝึกอบรม เช่น ศูนย์เทคโนโลยีไมโครอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ (TMEC) สถาบันไฟฟ้าและอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าพระนครเหนือ และ มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีมหานคร เพื่อรับทราบแนวทางพัฒนาบุคลากรและงานวิจัย

โครงการศึกษาดูงานครั้งนี้ช่วยสะท้อนศักยภาพและความพร้อมของไทยในภาคเทคโนโลยีขั้นสูง พร้อมแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลเชิงลึกแก่คณะผู้แทนเนเธอร์แลนด์ในการประเมินโอกาสความร่วมมือและการมีส่วนร่วมในห่วงโซ่อุปทานเซมิคอนดักเตอร์ระดับโลกของไทย

The Royal Thai Embassy in The Hague organized a Semiconductor Study Visit to Thailand in September 2025 for a delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the  Netherlands and High Tech NL. 

 

The mission provided a comprehensive look at Thailand’s national policy, R&D capabilities, and the private sector landscape in the semiconductor and advanced electronics industries. 

The program successfully facilitated a two-way exchange of information with key Thai stakeholders such as

 

Policy and Investment: Meetings were held with the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) to detail national investment incentives and with the Office of National Higher Education Science Research and Innovation Policy Council (NXPO) to discuss R&D strategy. 

 

Industry and Innovation: The delegation engaged with major industry players, including NXP Semiconductors and the fabless IC design firm, Silicon Craft Technology. They also met with key associations, the Thailand Printed Circuit Association (THPCA) and the Thai Semiconductor Industry Trade Association (THSIA). 

 

Talent and Research: The visit offered insights into Thailand's commitment to talent development, with tours of research and training centers such as the Thai Microelectronics Center (TMEC), Electrical and Electronics Institute (EEI), King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), and Mahanakorn University of Technology (MUT)

 

The study visit effectively showcased Thailand's current status and potential within the high-tech sector. The program provided the Dutch delegation with detailed information to assess potential areas of future engagement and to identify existing opportunities within the global semiconductor supply chain.
