เมื่อวันที่ 30 มีนาคม 2567 สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเฮก ได้จัดกิจกรรม “Kae-Sa-Lak Thai Fruit & Vegetable Carving” สอนการแกะสลักผักผลไม้เพื่อถ่ายทอดศิลปะการตกแต่งจานอาหารที่ปราณีตงดงามด้วยเทคนิคการแกะสลักของไทยโดยคุณพณิดา ย่อมมี คุณศุภัชชา ฉายแสง และคุณมยุรี อินทร์อ่ำ ในนามกลุ่มแกะสลัก พุทธิวงศ์ศิลป์ ณ โรงแรม Leonardo Royal Hotel Den Haag Promenade กรุงเฮก 

 

กิจกรรมนี้มีผู้เข้าร่วมเป็นชาวดัตช์และชาวต่างชาติที่อาศัยในเนเธอร์แลนด์รวมทั้งภริยาเอกอัครราชทูตและคู่สมรสนักการทูตประเทศสมาชิกอาเซียนในเนเธอร์แลนด์ รวมทั้งสิ้น 21 คน โดยได้เรียนรู้ทักษะการใช้มีดคว้านเพื่อแกะสลักผักผลไม้ในรูปแบบต่าง ๆ ทั้งนี้ ผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมต่างแสดงความประทับใจและชื่นชมในศิลปะการจัดแต่งผักผลไม้ด้วยความพิถีพิถันและละเอียดลออซึ่งเป็นหนึ่งในเอกลักษณ์ของวัฒนธรรมไทย

 

ในการนี้ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ขอขอบคุณกลุ่มแกะสลัก พุทธิวงศ์ศิลป์ รวมไปถึงบริษัท Namdhari’s Fresh และบริษัท Bud Holland ที่ได้สนับสนุนผักผลไม้จากไทยในกิจกรรมครั้งนี้

 

On 30 March 2024, Royal Thai Embassy, The Hague organized the workshop, "Kae-Sa-Lak Thai Fruit & Vegetable Carving" at Leonardo Royal Hotel Den Haag Promenade, The Hague. The session was instructed by the Buddhivongsil Carving Group led by Ms. Phanida Yommee, Ms. Suphatcha Chaisaeng and Ms. Mayuree Inaum, aiming to disseminate Thai culinary art and carving techniques to foreigners.

 

The activity was attended by 21 participants  which included Dutch and international residents living in the Netherlands, as well as spouses of diplomats of the ASEAN member countries in the Netherlands. The participants learned skills and techniques for carving fruits and vegetables into various shapes. The workshop received a lot of compliments and appreciations from participants for the art  meticulous and detailed artistry in Thai vegetable and fruit carving, which is a distinctive Thai cultural identity.
