การเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือไทย-เนเธอร์แลนด์ด้านการบริหารจัดการน้ำ

 

ระหว่างวันที่ 11 – 13 มีนาคม 2568 นายอสิ ม้ามณี เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเฮก ได้พบหารือกับคณะผู้แทนไทยที่เดินทางมาเนเธอร์แลนด์เกี่ยวกับแนวทางการเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือระหว่างไทยและเนเธอร์แลนด์ด้านการบริหารจัดการน้ำ โดยมุ่งเน้นการใช้องค์ความรู้และความเชี่ยวชาญของเนเธอร์แลนด์เพื่อพัฒนาแนวทางที่ยั่งยืนและเป็นประโยชน์ต่อประเทศไทย

 

🔹 11 มีนาคม 2568 – เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้ให้การต้อนรับ นายวิทยา แก้วมี รองอธิบดีฝ่ายวิชาการ กรมชลประทาน และคณะผู้แทนจากประเทศไทยที่เดินทางมาเพื่อศึกษาเทคโนโลยีการบริหารจัดการน้ำ โดยคณะฯ ได้เข้าพบ กระทรวงโครงสร้างพื้นฐานและการบริหารจัดการน้ำของเนเธอร์แลนด์ เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับการป้องกันน้ำท่วมและน้ำเค็ม ตลอดจนการจัดการตะกอนในแหล่งน้ำ เพื่อการป้องกันการกัดเซาะและการรักษาคุณภาพน้ำ

🔹 12 มีนาคม 2568 – เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้หารือกับคณะผู้แทนจาก คณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย นำโดย ดร.สมเกียรติ ประจำวงษ์ ศาสตราภิธาน และ ดร.อักษรา พฤทธิวิทยา รองหัวหน้าภาควิชาวิศวกรรมแหล่งน้ำ คณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ เกี่ยวกับความร่วมมือทางวิชาการด้านการบริหารจัดการน้ำอย่างยั่งยืน ซึ่งการร่วมมือดังกล่าวเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของ หนังสือแสดงเจตจำนง ว่าด้วยความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระหว่าง จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย, สถาบัน Deltares, และ สถาบัน IHE Delft

🔹 13 มีนาคม 2568 – เอกอัครราชทูตฯ และคณะผู้แทนไทยได้เข้าร่วมงาน Aquatech 2025 ณ ศูนย์การประชุม RAI Amsterdam และเข้าร่วมการนำเสนอ โครงการ Partners for International Business (PIB) Greater Bangkok ซึ่งเป็นโครงการความร่วมมือระหว่างภาครัฐและภาคเอกชนไทย-เนเธอร์แลนด์ที่มุ่งเน้นการเสริมสร้างเครือข่ายระหว่างหน่วยงานภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน และสถาบันวิชาการ โดยมุ่งเน้นการส่งเสริมการค้า การแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ และการพัฒนาแนวทางการบริหารจัดการน้ำที่ยั่งยืนและมีนวัตกรรม

 

Strengthening Thailand-Netherlands Cooperation on Sustainable Water Management

 

From March 11-13, 2025, H.E. Asi Mamanee, Ambassador of Thailand to the Netherlands, met with the Thai delegation visiting the Netherlands to explore opportunities for enhancing bilateral cooperation in water management. The discussions centered on utilizing Dutch expertise to develop sustainable, innovative solutions that will benefit Thailand’s water management sector.

 

🔹 March 11, 2025 – The Ambassador welcomed Mr. Wittaya Kaewmee, Deputy Director-General of the Royal Irrigation Department, and his delegation, who were in the Netherlands to explore advanced water management technologies. The delegation visited the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, where they exchanged valuable insights on topics including salinity and flood barriers as well as sediment management strategies.

🔹 March 12, 2025 – The Ambassador met with a delegation from Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Engineering, led by Dr. Somkiat Prajamwong, Senior Scholar, and Dr. Aksara Pruetthivithaya, Deputy Head of the Department of Water Resources Engineering, to discuss potential academic and technical cooperation in sustainable water management. This meeting was part of the ongoing collaboration outlined in the Letter of Intent (LoI) between Chulalongkorn University, the Deltares Institute, and the IHE Delft Institute.

🔹 March 13, 2025 – The Thai delegation participated in Aquatech 2025 at the RAI Amsterdam Convention Center, where they presented the Partners for International Business (PIB) Greater Bangkok program. This public-private initiative aims to enhance cooperation between Thailand and the Netherlands in water management, focusing on knowledge exchange, innovation, and the creation of sustainable water management networks. The program promotes collaboration across government agencies, private sectors, and academic institutions to drive trade, innovation, and the development of sustainable, cutting-edge water management solutions.
