เมื่อวันที่ 17 พ.ย. 2566 อุปทูตได้ร่วมแสดงความยินดีกับนายวิชาญ จิตร์ภักดี ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร บริษัทเอสซีจี แพคเกจจิ้ง จำกัด (มหาชน) (SCGP) คณะผู้บริหาร SCGP และ Peute Group ในพิธีเปิดโรงงานแห่งใหม่ของบริษัท Peute Group ที่เมือง Alblasserdam  

 

โดยเมื่อปี 2565 SCGP ได้เข้าลงทุนซื้อหุ้นร้อยละ 100 ใน Peute Group ผู้ดำเนินธุรกิจรีไซเคิลวัสดุบรรจุภัณฑ์และผู้จำหน่ายวัตถุดิบกระดาษรีไซเคิลและพลาสติกรีไซเคิลรายใหญ่ที่สุดในประเทศเนเธอร์แลนด์ 

 

ทั้งนี้ การลงทุนของ SCGP สอดคล้องกับการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืนที่เกิดขึ้นทั่วโลก และเป็นสาขาที่เนเธอร์แลนด์ให้ความสำคัญมาก รวมทั้งสะท้อนศักยภาพของธุรกิจไทยในต่างแดน

 

On 17 November  2023, Ms. Chonvipat Changtrakul, Charge d'Affaires a.i. joined in congratulating Mr. Wichan Jitpukdee, Chief Executive Officer of SCG Packaging Public Company Limited (SCGP), and the executives of SCGP as well as Peute Group during the Factory Inauguration Ceremony of Peute Group's new location facility in Alblasserdam.

 

In 2022, SCGP made a significant investment by acquiring 100 percent of shares in Peute Group, the largest recycling business for packaging materials and a prominent distributor of recycled paper and plastic raw materials in the Netherlands.

 

 SCGP's investment reflects the expansion and potential role of Thai business in the Netherlands, particularly in the bio, circular, and green (BCG) economy, in which both the Kingdoms of Thailand and the Netherlands attach high importance to.
