เมื่อวันที่ 11 กันยายน 2568 นายอสิ ม้ามณี เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเฮก ได้เข้าพบ นาย B.R. Arends นายกเทศมนตรีเมือง Westland เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นและหารือเกี่ยวกับประสบการณ์และความสำเร็จของเมือง Westland ในฐานะศูนย์กลางการเกษตรพืชสวนระดับโลก และหารือโอกาสความร่วมมือด้านการเกษตร รวมถึงแนวทางการขยายความร่วมมือในเครือข่าย Global Alliance of Horticulture Regions

 

การหารือในครั้งนี้มุ่งเน้นการแลกเปลี่ยนแนวทางการส่งเสริมเกษตรกรรมยั่งยืนและเทคโนโลยีโรงเรือนเพาะปลูก ซึ่งจะเป็นประโยชน์อย่างยิ่งต่อการพัฒนาศักยภาพภาคพืชสวนของไทยและการยกระดับความร่วมมือทางการเกษตรระหว่างสองประเทศ ในโอกาสนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตยังได้เชิญชวนพันธมิตรจากเนเธอร์แลนด์เข้าร่วมงาน Udon Thani International Horticultural Expo 2026 เพื่อเป็นเวทีในการขยายความร่วมมือและเสริมสร้างการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ด้านพืชสวนอย่างต่อเนื่องและยั่งยืน

 

เมือง Westland เป็นหนึ่งในผู้นำระดับโลกด้านเกษตรกรรมในเรือนกระจก มีความเชี่ยวชาญในการเพาะปลูกผัก ดอกไม้ และไม้ประดับ อีกทั้งยังเป็นศูนย์กลางของเทคโนโลยีล้ำสมัย นวัตกรรม และแนวปฏิบัติที่ยั่งยืน ซึ่งช่วยเสริมสร้างบทบาทของเนเธอร์แลนด์ในฐานะประเทศผู้ส่งออกผลิตผลการเกษตรชั้นนำของโลก

 

On 11 September 2025, H.E. Mr. Asi Mamanee, Ambassador of Thailand, met with Mr. B.R. Arends, Mayor of Westland, to exchange views and discuss Westland’s experience and success as a global hub for horticulture. The meeting also explored opportunities for agricultural cooperation and ways to expand collaboration within the Global Alliance of Horticultural Regions.

 

The discussion focused on sharing approaches to sustainable agriculture and greenhouse technology, which will greatly benefit the development of Thailand’s horticultural sector and strengthen bilateral agricultural cooperation. On this occasion, the Ambassador also invited Dutch partners to participate in the Udon Thani International Horticultural Expo 2026, providing a platform to further expand collaboration and promote continuous, sustainable knowledge exchange in horticulture.
