เมื่อวันที่ 24 พฤศจิกายน 2565 นายชาตรี อรรจนานันท์ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเฮก พร้อมด้วยนายอสิ ม้ามณี อธิบดีกรมยุโรปและคณะผู้แทนไทยได้เข้าร่วมการประชุมหารือทางการเมืองไทย - เนเธอร์แลนด์ ครั้งที่ 2 ณ กรุงเฮก โดยเนเธอร์แลนด์เป็นเจ้าภาพ

 

ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้แลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูล และหารือแนวทางในการส่งเสริมและผลักดันความร่วมมือระหว่างกันในสาขาต่าง ๆ ซึ่งครอบคลุมความร่วมมือด้านเศรษฐกิจ การค้า การลงทุน การบริหารจัดการน้ำ สิ่งแวดล้อม พลังงานสะอาด พลังงานทดแทน อุตสาหกรรมและเทคโนโลยีการเกษตร การศึกษา การท่องเที่ยว และวัฒนธรรม รวมทั้งการส่งเสริมให้มีการแลกเปลี่ยนการเยือนระดับสูงรวมถึงคณะนักธุรกิจระหว่างกันให้มากยิ่งขึ้น

 

ในโอกาสเดียวกัน เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้นำคณะกรมยุโรปและคณะผู้แทนจากสำนักงานคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมวิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม (สกสว.) ไปศึกษาดูงานที่ Deltares ซึ่งเป็นหน่วยงานที่รับผิดชอบด้านการบริหารจัดการน้ำเพื่อศึกษาองค์ความรู้และนำไปปรับใช้กับการจัดการด้านน้ำของไทยต่อไป

 

On 24 November 2022, H.E. Mr. Chatri Archjananun, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Kingdom of Netherlands together with Mr. Asi Mamanee, Director-General of the Department of European Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs,  and the Thai delegation participated in the 2nd Thailand – Netherlands Political Consultations, hosted by the Netherlands.

 

Both sides deliberated ways to promote and push forward concrete bilateral cooperation in various areas including economic cooperation, trade and investment, water resources management, environment, clean energy, renewable energy, agriculture industry and technology, tourism and cultural cooperation, as well as to promote the exchange of high level visits including business representatives and trade missions.

 

On the same day, the Ambassador led the Thai delegation from Department of European Affairs and Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI) to visit Deltares, which is the Dutch leading institute on  water resource management. Both sides discussed further cooperation in water resource management.
