เมื่อวันที่ 13 มิถุนายน 2568 สำนักงานส่งเสริมพื้นที่เศรษฐกิจพิเศษภาคตะวันออก (สกพอ.) ร่วมกับสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเฮก และหอการค้าเนเธอร์แลนด์ - ไทย (Netherlands Thai Chamber of Commerce: NTCC) จัดงานสัมมนาธุรกิจในหัวข้อ "Thailand Meets Netherlands: Forging Stronger Business Partnerships on Bio-Circular-Green Economy in the Eastern Economic Corridor of Thailand" ณ โรงแรม nhow Amsterdam RAI กรุงอัมสเตอร์ดัม

 

งานสัมมนาดังกล่าวมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อนำเสนอศักยภาพและโอกาสการลงทุนในเขตพัฒนาพิเศษภาคตะวันออก (EEC) โดยเฉพาะในอุตสาหกรรมที่เกี่ยวข้องกับ Bio-Circular-Green Economy (BCG) ตลอดจนมาตรการส่งเสริมการลงทุนและการสนับสนุนต่าง ๆ ที่รัฐบาลไทยมีให้แก่นักลงทุนต่างชาติ

ภายในงานมีการบรรยายและเสวนาจากผู้บริหารระดับสูงของหน่วยงานภาครัฐไทย ได้แก่ ดร. จุฬา สุขมานพ เลขาธิการ สำนักงานส่งเสริมพื้นที่เศรษฐกิจพิเศษภาคตะวันออก (สกพอ.) ศาสตราจารย์ ดร. ชูกิจ ลิมปิจำนงค์ ผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานพัฒนาวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีแห่งชาติ (สวทช.) นางสาวนลินี กาญจนามัย รองผู้ว่าการการนิคมอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (กนอ.) และ ดร. ชลจิต วรวังโส วีรกุล ผู้ช่วยเลขาธิการ สกพอ. นาย Hans van den Born Executive Director หอการค้าเนเธอร์แลนด์ - ไทย นอกจากนี้ยังมีการแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์จากผู้บริหารของบริษัทชั้นนำที่ประสบความสำเร็จในการลงทุนในประเทศไทย ได้แก่ PRIVA Southeast Asia, Oryx Stainless, Thai Union และ East-West Seed

 

ในโอกาสนี้ นายอสิ ม้ามณี เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเฮก ได้กล่าวเปิดงานผ่านระบบออนไลน์ โดยเน้นย้ำว่า ประเทศไทยมุ่งขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจอย่างยั่งยืนผ่านโมเดล BCG โดยใช้เขต EEC เป็นพื้นที่ต้นแบบในการพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมสีเขียวและเทคโนโลยีขั้นสูง พร้อมเปิดรับและสนับสนุนการลงทุนจากต่างชาติอย่างจริงจัง ด้วยสภาพแวดล้อมที่เอื้อต่อธุรกิจ สิทธิประโยชน์ต่าง ๆ และโครงสร้างพื้นฐานที่เชื่อมต่อทั่วโลก โดยเชื่อมั่นว่าความร่วมมือระหว่างไทยกับเนเธอร์แลนด์จะเป็นแรงขับเคลื่อนสำคัญในการสร้างนวัตกรรมสีเขียวที่ตอบโจทย์ทั้งด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมและเศรษฐกิจในภูมิภาคและระดับโลก

 

งานสัมมนามีผู้เข้าร่วมประมาณ 70 คน จากบริษัทและองค์กรในภาคธุรกิจของเนเธอร์แลนด์ และยังเป็นเวทีสำคัญในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือทางเศรษฐกิจระหว่างไทยกับเนเธอร์แลนด์ โดยเฉพาะในสาขาที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืนและนวัตกรรม ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับเป้าหมายของทั้งสองประเทศในการขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจสีเขียว

 

On June 13, 2025, the Eastern Economic Corridor Office (EECO), in collaboration with the Royal Thai Embassy in The Hague and the Netherlands Thai Chamber of Commerce (NTCC), organized a business seminar titled "Thailand Meets Netherlands: Forging Stronger Business Partnerships on Bio-Circular-Green Economy in the Eastern Economic Corridor of Thailand" at nhow Amsterdam RAI hotel in Amsterdam.

 

The seminar aimed to showcase the potential and investment opportunities in Thailand's Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), particularly in industries related to the Bio-Circular-Green Economy (BCG), as well as investment promotion measures and various support that the Thai government provides to foreign investors.

The event featured presentations and panel discussions from senior executives of Thai government agencies, including:

• Dr. Chula Sukmanop, Secretary-General, EECO

• Professor Dr. Chukiat Limpijamnong, Director, National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) 

• Ms. Nalinee Kanjanamai, Deputy Governor, Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT)Dr. Chonjit Worawangsho Weeraku, Assistant Secretary-General, EECO

• Mr. Hans van den Born, Executive Director, Netherlands Thai Chamber of Commerce

 

The seminar also featured experience-sharing sessions from executives of leading companies that have successfully invested in Thailand, including PRIVA Southeast Asia, Oryx Stainless, Thai Union, and East-West Seed.

In his video opening address, H.E. Mr. Asi Mamanee, Ambassador of Thailand, emphasized that Thailand's commitment to driving sustainable economic development through the BCG model. The Ambassador highlighted that Thailand is using the EEC as a pilot area for developing green industries and advanced technologies, while actively welcoming and supporting foreign investment through a business-friendly environment, various incentives, and world-class infrastructure connectivity. Ambassador Mamanee expressed confidence that Thailand-Netherlands cooperation will serve as a crucial driving force in creating green innovations that address both environmental and economic challenges at regional and global levels.

 

The seminar was well attended by approximately 70 participants from Dutch companies and business organizations. It served as an important platform for promoting economic cooperation between Thailand and the Netherlands, particularly in sectors related to sustainable development and innovation, aligning with both countries' goals of driving the green economy forward.
