เมื่อวันที่ 23 สิงหาคม 2566 สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเฮก ได้จัดกิจกรรม Youth Football Day ร่วมกับสโมสรฟุตบอล PSV Eindhoven ให้กับเยาวชนไทยในเนเธอร์แลนด์ จำนวน 23 คน โดยกิจกรรมประกอบด้วย การแนะนำประวัติและสถาบันฝึกอบรมของสโมสรที่เคยปั้นนักฟุตบอลที่มีชื่อเสียงระดับโลกมาแล้วหลายคน รวมถึงคัดสรรดาวรุ่งดวงใหม่จากสโมสรฟุตบอลทั่วประเทศ เยาวชนที่เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมได้รับการฝึกทักษะฟุตบอลทั้งทักษะบุคคลและทักษะการเล่นเป็นทีมกับโค้ชมืออาชีพของสโมสร รับประทานอาหารกลางวันที่โรงอาหารเดียวกับนักฟุตบอลของสโมสร รวมถึงได้เยี่ยมชมสนามฟุตบอล Philips Stadion ซึ่งเป็นสนามเหย้าของสโมสร 

 

กิจกรรมในครั้งนี้เป็นโอกาสอันดีที่เยาวชนไทยในเนเธอร์แลนด์ได้สัมผัสบรรยากาศการฝึกซ้อมและสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกของสโมสรฟุตบอลอาชีพ อีกทั้งยังเป็นการสร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้กับเยาวชนที่รักในกีฬาและใฝ่ฝันอยากเป็นนักฟุตบอลอาชีพต่อไป นอกจากนี้ ยังเป็นการสร้างความรักความสามัคคีให้กับเยาวชนไทยที่อาศัยในเนเธอร์แลนด์อีกด้วย ทั้งนี้ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้จัดทำเสื้อยืดพิเศษสำหรับเยาวชนที่เข้าร่วมกิจกรรม ซึ่งกิจกรรมตลอดทั้งวันได้สร้างประสบการณ์ที่ดีและความประทับใจให้กับเยาวชนผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมรวมไปถึงผู้ปกครอง

 

กิจกรรมครั้งนี้เป็นความร่วมมือระหว่างสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ กับสโมสรฟุตบอล และภาคเอกชนไทยทั้งจากประเทศไทยและในประเทศเนเธอร์แลนด์ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ขอขอบคุณสโมสรฟุตบอล PSV Eindhoven และผู้สนับสนุนกิจกรรมมา ณ ที่นี้

On 23 August 2023, Royal Thai Embassy, The Hague organized the Youth Football Day activity in collaboration with PSV Eindhoven for Thai children in the Netherlands aged 6 to 14. A total of 23 children participated in the activity, which included introducing the history and training facilities of the club where many world-class footballers have played for as well as where the new stars footballers have been trained. The participants were received the training by the club’s professional coaches both for individual and team skills. Participants  also had lunch at the club's cafeteria where the professional footballers have, and had the opportunity to visit the Philips Stadion, the home stadium of PSV Eindhoven. 

 

This activity provided an excellent opportunity for Thai children in the Netherlands to experience the training atmosphere and facilities of a professional football club. The activity was aimed to inspire the children who have passion in football and dream to become professional footballers. Additionally, the activity has strengthened solidarity and friendship among Thai children living in the Netherlands. The Embassy gave specially designed t-shirts for the children. This full-day activity has created positive and memorable experiences for the children including their parents.

 

The activity was a collaboration between the Embassy, the football club, and the Thai private sectors, both from Thailand and the Netherlands. Royal Thai Embassy, The Hague wishes to extend its gratitude to PSV Eindhoven and all the supporters of this activity.
