เมื่อวันที่ 28 กรกฎาคม 2568 สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเฮก โดยนางอิฏฐา ม้ามณี ภริยาเอกอัครราชทูตฯ พร้อมด้วยข้าราชการ และคู่สมรส ได้เป็นเจ้าภาพจัดกิจกรรมเผยแพร่วัฒนธรรมไทยผ่านอาหารไทยให้กับ สมาคมคู่สมรสเอกอัครราชทูตประจำกรุงเฮก (Ambassadors’ Spouses Association: ASA) ณ ทำเนียบเอกอัครราชทูต โดยกิจกรรมประกอบด้วยการสาธิตการทำผัดไทย และการสาธิตและ workshop การทำต้มยำกุ้ง ซึ่งได้รับการขึ้นทะเบียนเป็นมรดกทางวัฒนธรรมที่จับต้องไม่ได้ขององค์การ UNESCO เมื่อปี 2567 โดยเชฟกมล ชอบดีงาม (เชฟกิ๊ก) เชฟเจ้าของร้านอาหารเลิศทิพย์และผู้ร่วมก่อตั้งร้านอาหารเผ็ดมาร์ค อดีตผู้ชนะรายการเชฟกระทะเหล็กประเทศไทยและผู้เข้าแข่งขันรอบสุดท้ายรายการ Top Chef Thailand

 

สมาคมคู่สมรสเอกอัครราชทูตประจำกรุงเฮก (Ambassadors’ Spouses Association: ASA) เป็นเวทีที่เปิดกว้างสำหรับคู่สมรสของเอกอัครราชทูตประเทศต่าง ๆ ประจำเนเธอร์แลนด์ โดยสมาคมฯ มุ่งส่งเสริมการสร้างความสัมพันธ์อันดี ความร่วมมือ การสนับสนุนซึ่งกันและกัน และการแลกเปลี่ยนทางวัฒนธรรม ซึ่งมีบทบาทสำคัญในการเสริมสร้างความเป็นน้ำหนึ่งใจเดียวกันและความเข้าใจอันดีระหว่างประเทศ

 

On 28 July 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in The Hague, led by Mrs. Ittha Mamanee, spouse of the Ambassador of Thailand to the Netherlands, hosted a cultural promotion event at the Ambassador’s residence for members of the Ambassadors’ Spouses Association (ASA). The event was attended by embassy officials and their spouses, and featured a vibrant celebration of Thai culinary arts.

 

The highlight of the event was a live cooking demonstration of two iconic Thai dishes—Pad Thai and Tom Yum Kung—presented by renowned Thai chef, Chef Kamol Chobdee-ngam (Chef Gigg). Chef Gigg is the Chef-Owner of Lerdtip Restaurant Wanghin, co-founder of Phed Mark Restaurant, and has been recognized as a former winner of Iron Chef Thailand and finalist of Top Chef Thailand. In addition to the demonstrations, guests actively participated in a hands-on Tom Yum Kung cooking workshop.

 

The event also commemorated a significant cultural milestone, as Tom Yum Kung was officially inscribed in 2024 on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, underscoring its global cultural significance and Thailand’s rich culinary legacy.

 

The Ambassadors’ Spouses Association (ASA) in The Hague is an inclusive platform that fosters connection, cultural exchange, and mutual support among the spouses of ambassadors accredited to the Netherlands. Through gatherings such as this, the ASA continues to strengthen the spirit of friendship and cooperation within the international diplomatic community.
