เมื่อวันที่ ๒ ธันวาคม ๒๕๖๘ สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเฮก ได้จัดงานเลี้ยงรับรองเนื่องในวันคล้ายวันพระบรมราชสมภพพระบาทสมเด็จพระบรมชนกาธิเบศร มหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช บรมนาถบพิตร วันชาติ และวันพ่อแห่งชาติ ๕ ธันวาคม ๒๕๖๘ ณ โรงแรม Des Indes, The Hague โดยมีผู้เข้าร่วมงานประมาณ ๓๐๐ คน ประกอบด้วยคณะทูตานุทูต ผู้แทนองค์การระหว่างประเทศ ผู้แทนหน่วยงานภาครัฐและเอกชนเนเธอร์แลนด์ กลุ่ม Friends of Thailand และผู้แทนภาคเอกชนไทยที่ลงทุนในเนเธอร์แลนด์
ในช่วงพิธีการ สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเฮก ได้เผยแพร่สารวีดิทัศน์เฉลิมพระเกียรติ “Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother: A Legacy that Touched the World” และเชิญผู้เข้าร่วมงานยืนสงบนิ่งเพื่อแสดงความอาลัยต่อการสวรรคตของสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง หลังจากนั้น นายอสิ ม้ามณี เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเฮก ได้กล่าวสุนทรพจน์สดุดีและเทิดพระเกียรติพระบาทสมเด็จพระบรมชนกาธิเบศร มหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช บรมนาถบพิตร ที่ทรงบำเพ็ญพระราชกรณียกิจเพื่อความผาสุกของพสกนิกรชาวไทยกว่า ๗๐ ปี รวมทั้งได้กล่าวถึงจุดยืนของประเทศไทยในการขยายความร่วมมือกับทุกภูมิภาคเพื่อเสริมสร้างความมั่นคงและการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน และได้กล่าวถึงเนเธอร์แลนด์ซึ่งเป็นหนึ่งในมิตรประเทศที่มีความสัมพันธ์อันยาวนานมากที่สุดกับประเทศไทย โดยเนเธอร์แลนด์กับประเทศไทยมีความร่วมมือที่แน่นแฟ้น ความสำเร็จสำคัญล่าสุดคือการลงนามความตกลงยกเลิกการเก็บภาษีซ้อนโดยรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศของทั้งสองประเทศเมื่อเดือนพฤศจิกายน และการประชุม Political Consultation ไทย - เนเธอร์แลนด์ ครั้งที่ ๔ เมื่อเดือนตุลาคม ทั้งนี้ ในช่วงปีที่ผ่านมา สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเฮก ได้จัดกิจกรรม Thailand Grand Festival 2025 ซึ่งมีผู้เข้าร่วมงานกว่า ๒๐,๐๐๐ คน ขณะที่ในปี ๒๕๖๙ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ มีแผนที่จะจัดกิจกรรมเพื่อส่งเสริมวัฒนธรรมไทย โดยเฉพาะ “ชุดไทย” รวมทั้งงานศิลปะและงานฝีมือ จากนั้น เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้กล่าวเชิญชวนแขกผู้มีเกียรติร่วมดื่มถวายพระพรแด่พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว และสมเด็จพระราชาธิบดีวิลเลม-อะเล็กซานเดอร์ แห่งเนเธอร์แลนด์
ในงานเลี้ยงรับรอง สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้จัดเตรียมอาหารคาว - หวานไทย หลากหลายชนิด เช่น ผัดไทย แกงเขียวหวาน ไก่ผัดเม็ดมะม่วง ส้มตำ ไก่ย่าง ข้าวเหนียวมะม่วง วุ้นใบเตย รวมทั้งอาหารผสมผสานระหว่างไทยกับเนเธอร์แลนด์ Stamppot ก้อยเนื้อแบบอีสาน นอกจากนี้ มีการแสดงดนตรีไทยจากชมรมดนตรีไทยในราชอาณาจักรเนเธอร์แลนด์ การแสดงดนตรีแซ็กโซโฟนเพลงพระราชนิพนธ์และเพลงสากลโดยศิลปิน Denis “WaWa” Vellinga การแสดงดนตรีกีตาร์คลาสสิคเพลงพระราชนิพนธ์และเพลงสากลโดยนายธนพจน์ เลิศธรรม การส่งเสริมสินค้าไทยของสำนักส่งเสริมการค้าในต่างประเทศ ณ กรุงเฮก
On 2 December 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy, The Hague hosted a reception to commemorate the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, National Day, and Father’s Day of Thailand, 5 December 2025, at Hotel Des Indes, The Hague. The reception was attended by approximately 300 guests, including members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of international organizations, government agencies, representatives from Dutch private sector, Friends of Thailand, and Thai investors in the Netherlands.
During the ceremony, the Royal Thai Embassy, The Hague presented the royal tribute video “Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother: A Legacy that Touched the World.” Guests were then invited to observe a moment of silence in remembrance of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother. Afterwards, H.E. Mr. Asi Mamanee, Ambassador of Thailand to the Netherlands, delivered a speech paying tribute to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, honoring His Majesty’s more than 70 years of dedication to improving the well-being of the Thai people. He also highlighted Thailand’s commitment to expanding cooperation with all regions to strengthen security and sustainable development. The Ambassador noted that the Netherlands is one of Thailand’s oldest friends, with long-standing and robust cooperation. Recent key achievements include the signing of the Convention on the Elimination of Double Taxation by the Foreign Ministers of both countries in November, and the Fourth Thailand – Netherlands Political Consultation held in October. Over the past year, the Royal Thai Embassy organized the Thailand Grand Festival 2025, which welcomed more than 20,000 visitors. In 2026, the Embassy plans to organize cultural showcase focused particularly on “Chud Thai” (Thai national dress), as well as Thai arts and handicrafts. The Ambassador then invited guests to join in a toast to His Majesty the King of Thailand and His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands.
At the reception, the Embassy provided a wide variety of Thai savory and sweet dishes such as Pad Thai, Green Curry, Chicken with Cashew Nuts, Som Tum and Grilled Chicken, Mango Sticky Rice, Pandan Jelly, as well as a Thai – Dutch fusion dish, Northeastern Thai Ossenworst Stamppot. The event also featured Thai classical music performed by the Thai Music Circle in the Netherlands, saxophone performances of royal compositions and international pieces by artist Denis “WaWa” Vellinga, classical guitar performances of royal compositions and international music by Mr. Thanapot Lerttham, and a showcase of Thai products by the Thai Trade Center in The Hague.
