เมื่อวันที่ 26 กรฎาคม 2568 สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเฮก ได้จัดกิจกรรม workshop มวยไทยให้กับกลุ่ม Asian Pride ในช่วงกิจกรรม Pride Amsterdam 2025 ณ สวนสาธารณะ Vondelpark นครอัมสเตอร์ดัม ซึ่งได้รับความสนใจจากกลุ่มผู้มีความหลากหลายทางเพศในเนเธอร์แลนด์ที่มีความสนใจเรียนรู้ศิลปะการต่อสู้ของไทยเพื่อนำไปใช้ป้องกันตัวในชีวิตประจำวันและเพื่อเป็นการออกกำลังกาย โดยสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้มอบกางเกงมวยไทยให้เป็นของที่ระลึกแก่ผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมด้วย

 

ในโอกาสนี้ นายพสุวัตร ยาทิพย์ ที่ปรึกษา สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเฮก ได้พูดคุยหารือกลุ่ม Asian Pride กับนาย Jan Pieter de Lugt ประธานกลุ่ม Pride and Sports เครือข่ายส่งเสริมการยอมรับและความปลอดภัยของกลุ่ม LGBTIQ+ ในเรื่องกีฬา ถึงความเป็นไปได้ในการจัดกิจกรรมร่วมกันในอนาคต 

 

On 26 July 2025, Royal Thai Embassy, The Hague organized a Muay Thai Workshop for the Asian Pride during the Pride Amsterdam 2025 at Vondelpark in Amsterdam. The workshop attracted interest from members of the LGBTIQ+ community in the Netherlands who were eager to learn Thai martial arts for self-defense in daily life and as a form of exercise. The Embassy also presented Muay Thai shorts as souvenirs to the workshop participants.

 

On this occasion, Mr. Pasuwat Yathip, Counsellor, Royal Thai Embassy, The Hague, also discussed with Asian Pride as well as Mr. Jan Pieter de Lugt, Chairman of Pride and Sports, a platform promoting acceptance and safety of the LGBTIQ+ community in sports. All sides agreed on the possibility of organizing future joint activities.
